{"id":27,"date":"2019-05-17T09:05:32","date_gmt":"2019-05-17T09:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/demo.sharkthemes.com\/fabulist-pro\/?p=27"},"modified":"2019-10-12T07:39:53","modified_gmt":"2019-10-12T07:39:53","slug":"street-of-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.sharkthemes.com\/shark-magazine-pro\/2019\/05\/17\/street-of-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"Street of Barcelona"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Variation in the colour of the eyes from brown to green can all be explained by the amount of melanin in the iris, but blue-eyed individuals only have a small degree of variation in the amount of melanin in their eyes. \u201cFrom this we can conclude that all blue-eyed individuals are linked to the same ancestor,\u201d says Professor Eiberg. \u201cThey have all inherited the same switch at exactly the same spot in their DNA.\u201d Brown-eyed individuals, by contrast, have considerable individual variation in the area of their DNA that controls melanin production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professor Eiberg and his team examined mitochondrial DNA and compared the eye colour of blue-eyed individuals in countries as diverse as Jordan, Denmark and Turkey.
